Vineyard Community Garden
Vineyard Community Garden holds a work party from 10 am to 2 pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Please contact the garden leader to confirm ahead of time if you want to volunteer.
Fifth Street Community Garden
Fifth Street Community Garden holds a work party from 10 am to 2 pm on the 1st Sunday of each month during Spring, Summer and Fall. Please contact the garden leader to confirm ahead of time if you want to volunteer.
The garden holds a monthly meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the First Step office, 325 E 6th St. All gardeners and anyone else interested is welcome to attend.
Master Gardeners of Clallam County
The Master Gardeners of Clallam County offer regular Brown Bag classes in the county commissioner’s meeting room at the courthouse. On every second Friday at 12 noon, Master Gardeners host “Lunch in the Garden” at the Fifth Street Community Garden. These one-hour walks highlight what needs to be done in the vegetable garden each month and what problems are likely to appear at that time. Master Gardeners also offer Class Act classes at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden on select Saturdays, host an annual garden tour and plant sale.
Other Events
McComb Gardens hosts some free classes on a variety of gardening topics.
The Soroptimists Gala Garden Show is a two day event with lots of exhibitors, vendors and speakers.
